Global Trade Summit 2017 Recap On July 27th , the " Global Trade Summit 2017" cross-border event was held in Ontario, CA. The summit was sponsored by inQbrands, a US based wholly-owned subsidiary of Focus Technology, which is headquartered in Nanjing, China.

Presentations centered around the changing global trade trends and corporate responses required to succeed: inQbrands Executive Chairman, Wilson Zhu Talked about " Winning in the Changing World," Ceo Caniece Haywood presented " The Problems inQbrands is Solving". The Chief Merchandising Officer, Patricia Lounis, elaborated on The ways inQbrands helps its clients succeed. Through product and brand development , e-commerce and other trade service models.

The event attracted over 150 participants including Chinese companies wishing to succeed in the US market, US buyer, importers, entrap, small and medium sized buisness, retailers, wholesalers and cross- border enterprises.

China and other global enterprises are facing great challenges. The traditional OEM model of price competition has been transformed into brand competition, orders for production into stock sales. Manufacturers must now become brand owners to compete in the transforming traditional foreign trade.

Given the rise in popularity in online shopping, American brick and mortar operations, and their private label business have been suffering but this also creates new opportunities for foreign factories to create their own brands and sell directly, especially via e-commerce. To leverage this new opportunity, inQbrands provides a one stop shop to help you succeed in the US market.

The 2017 Global Trade Summit was supported by the Chinese Consulate in the United States, the Jiangsu Provincial Business Representative in Los Angeles, The American Electric Merchants Logistics Association, the Ontario Chamber of Commerce and other government and business organizations. Mr. Liu Haiyan, Counselor of the Chinese Consulate General in Los Angeles, gave a keynote speech on Sino-US trade relations at the summit. Liu Zizan introduced the importance of Sino-US relations in global trade.

The Summit also included a presentation by qualify tests company. TUV SUD US strategy director Mr. Jincan who presented "Reliable Relationship is Essential to Your Success" and the Senior Purchasing and Branding expert MR. Danny Chen presented "10 Questions to Ask Your Supplier" .
